#claritykHAI week 1

Basically, Clarityk + Hoffman Agency + Intern = #claritykHAI

Week 1 Review: 07/06 - 14/06
It's been a week with the Agency! The last internship I had was with Changi Airport Group back in 2014 for school and it has been quite a different experience.

The main difference for me is the different accounts/clients that you work with. When working in-house, your brand was your sole concern. However, at an agency - whatever accounts you work on and whatever clients are all equally important.

Thus comes the difficult part - being able to discern what is urgent x important and what items on my to-dos can wait just a little longer. This comes along quite difficult for me because it means rejecting work/assignments/pushing them away because I have no more capacity to do a good job on it - and somehow I feel guilty having to do so.

Also, a lot of self-doubt appears because writing for different accounts is somewhat like crafting stuff for different kind of target markets. Trying to work on the HR TA without much or seasoned experience on the topic feels daunting.

One of the few sweet moments (for now) will actually be reflecting hours spent on different client materials in my timeslips. Because knowing that me working on something that will be used in one way or another is pretty rewarding - kinda as an intern. I guess that's the perk of working in a mid-size/smaller agency - you really get first hand experience with clients and churning of materials.

Anticipating more, especially growth in workload management.

Here's to another 58 days!
